About the Training & My Experience
The “Glass Skin” effect has gained huge popularity over the last few years, especially in Korean inspired skin care. What makes it truly impressive is that it doesn’t rely on a single technique, but rather on a careful combination of gentle exfoliation, smoothing, nourishing and deep hydration. When used correctly, it can transform dull, textured or uneven skin into a luminous, refined and healthy-looking complexion.
My journey with glass-skin techniques began in 2024. Since then, I have learnt how to safely combine two methods, dermaplaning and microdermabrasion, to achieve a noticeable glow, smoothness and light-reflective finish, without compromising the skin’s natural hydrolipid barrier. This approach allows for impressive, refined results without the risk of irritation or weakening the skin.
At YA Studio, I teach a glass skin protocol that is thoughtful, simplified and based on understanding the skin’s behaviour. The routine you will learn combines technology, advanced exfoliation and nourishing products, making it suitable for a wide range of skin types and concerns.
