High Frequency (Darsonval) therapy is a classic, well established technology used in professional facials to support acne prone skin, reduce inflammation, aid healing and improve skin hygiene. When applied correctly, it has powerful antibacterial, oxygenating and calming effects, making it a valuable addition to many treatment protocols.
I began incorporating High Frequency into facial therapy early in my professional journey. Over the years, I have refined how and when to use it most effectively, understanding the impact of ozone production, electrode selection and the importance of correct timing and movement. Today, I teach this method not as a “quick extra step”, but as a purposeful tool that can be safely integrated into modern facial treatments.

Who Is This Training For?
This course is suitable for practitioners who already have a basic qualification in facials, for example Skin Care & Facial Therapy, Level 2 Beauty, or equivalent. Some insurance providers may require a foundation level skincare qualification when working with any electrical facial equipment, so it is recommended to check your insurance requirements before booking.

Training Duration & Structure
1 individual training session
Duration: approximately 2-3 hours
Combination of theory, demonstration and practical practice
Models & Practical Work
During the training, you will practise correct usage and electrode handling before working on a model. You will then perform a High Frequency application under supervision.
A model can be provided by the studio or you are also welcome to bring your own model if preferred.
